Farmhouse near Rome

For your holidays, or even for a simple trip out of town, we suggest a villa near Rome, transformed into a farmhouse with swimming pool in the center of a 116 acres wine estate in Frascati in the Roman Castel area

A charming Italian farmhouse among the Castelli Romani area

Tenuta di Pietra Porzia hosts a farmhouse next to Rome in the Castelli Romani area. It is a very rare example, just a few kilometers away from the Italian capital, of a large winery that ensures the view on an intact, incredibly charming landscape.

The Estate, stretching on 117 acres of vineyards and olive groves, is one of the most important in the whole Frascati area; it includes a post-modern villa, an enchanting historic house, a garden, a swimming pool, and an ancient wine cellar. The Estate is the ideal location for photo shoots and film sets; moreover, the villa is one of the most perfect wedding villas in Italy for ceremonies of all kinds. The rural hotel with swimming pool, one of the most fascinating resorts of the Castelli Romani area, is just 5 km away from Frascati and it’s strategically located right in the heart of an area that extends from Tivoli to Castel Gandolfo, two of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the nearby of Rome. Two must-see cities if you are planning your Italy vacations. Pietra Porzia is also an ideal stopping point, a landmark for tourists craving for shopping: the Valmontone Outlet Mall is just 25 minutes drive’s away.

The resort counts 12 rooms and a local, farm-to-table typical Italian restaurant: we use only selected raw materials and products (food, white and red wines, and extra virgin olive oil) coming straight from our garden and nearby farms, in order to prepare delicious dishes in full respect of the local food and wine tradition and culinary arts. The restaurant is open to the public and can be reserved for weddings, corporate and private events. All white and red wines, along with the extra virgin olive oil, come from and are produced inside the estate properties. The rural hotel is housed in the twentieth-century villa with its postmodern design, along with the guesthouse that still preserves a tower dating back to the thirteenth century. The refurbishment did not modify in any way the original structure.

In the surroundings, visitors and guests can enjoy the unpolluted countryside landscape: from here you will have stunning views of Rome, Frascati, the Romans Castles, the famous Monti Sabini (Sabini mountains), and the Estate’s vineyards and olive groves. This combination of antiquity and modernity, history, vineyards, olive groves, and rural landscapes, gives to the Estate a unique and exclusive charm.

The whole environment exudes the allure of a Historic House: once a private house of a noble family, today a fairy-like luxury location open to guests.
