Extra virgin olive oil from Tenuta di Pietra Porzia
Our olive oil comes from the olive groves owned by the company, 116 acres in a natural amphitheater, the only intact hill landscape around Rome, belonging for a century to the Giulini family, which also owns Tenuta La Marchesa in the Gavi area.
Tenuta di Pietra Porzia in an agriturismo in Rome and a historic company, where you can find archaeological remains dating back to the Roman Empire era. In addition to the typical vineyards of the area, the company owns 27 acres planted with 2500 olive trees and an oil mill.
We produce traditional oil varieties: Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, Rosciola, Carboncella.
The olives, cold pressed when harvested, produce an extra virgin olive oil with very low acidity, very rich in antioxidant polyphenols.
The small production of very high quality is exported to Japan and sold only to our private customers.
