Tenuta di Pietra Porzia: wine tours, vineyard holidays and wine tasting near Rome

For those who are interested in vineyard tours in Italy in a historical and cultural context, Tenuta di Pietra Porzia organizes private wine tours by appointment, with a unique “enotouristic” path.

Vineyard holidays: visits to the vineyards and the cellar

The visit to the vineyards and the cellar starts from a location that overlooks the landscape composed of the vineyards, the olive grove on the hill, and the cypresses avenue.

At first, you will have the chance to listen to the story of our company and territory, then we will enter the winery, where you can be witness of the winemaking process which allows our wines to have great aromas and a low sulfite content, in adherence to the full-sustainability strategy policy implemented by the company.

The visit to the cellar is followed by the wine tasting of at least 3 wines paired with bruschetta (a delicious slice of grilled baked, supplied by local bakeries) seasoned with extra virgin olive oil we produce. Then, your wine holidays in Italy continue through a spectacular staircase that will lead you down, inside the cave with its tuff tunnels.

Together, we will also visit the company’s oil mill, and our guest will have the chance to see how our extra virgin olive oil is made.

The tour lasts about 1 hour and costs € 20 per person. It is reserved for groups of 6 people minimum (for groups of less than 6 people the cost is € 30 per person).

The visit is possible only by reservation.

Private wine tours to vineyards and cellar with lunch at the farmhouse

After the aforementioned private wine tour, you can choose to have lunch in our farmhouse with a pool near Rome, to which you can get through the spectacular cypresses trees avenue that leads to the Roman villa of Pietra Porzia. Lunch can be served in the hall of the villa, on the terrace overlooking the landscape or by the pool.

The wine tour plus the lunch at the farmhouse costs 55 € per person  with a minimum reservation of 6 people requested.
